Kids need direct experience of nature for healthy intellectual, emotional, and even moral development. In order to become complete human beings, kids need experience of nature early in life, frequently, and preferably with their families.

Backyard Explorers is our flagship environmental education programme, defined by these traits:

  • In-depth engagement where a topics are explored, and practical skills developed, over a series of sessions.
  • Learn from the experts themselves! Modules conducted by active practitioners in ecology and conservation research.
  • Modules offered on demand. As long as you have the numbers and a set of dates and times, we’re good to go!
